About the Artist

  Meet Debbie

cherish Pet Impressions was inspired by the need to memorialize my own pet, Ginger, who passed at the age of 15. I wanted a way to have her near me, to always be able to see her sweet face, and once more enjoy her character, unconditional love, and her larger than life personality.

I have been a muralist, faux artist, and have painted florals.. I’ve added a few examples below:

magnolia on black cabinet

But, I found that painting my dog Ginger gave me a new sense of peace, ..a calmness in my surrounding, a total euphoria having her painting displayed, and a focus on something that opened up a completely new world for me.

So, I decided to paint my other pups and family members pets many of which can be seen on my Cherish Pet Impressions Facebook page.

I discovered different mediums and techniques, using paintbrush and palette knife to create abstract, and whimsical aspects of the pets.

With hand-painted portraits, you not only get a one of a kind memorial of your beloved pet, but for me, its a labor of love.
